Freshly Sleeved #25 - Flip through your binder

Your lists just got a page-turner: the new Binder view shows your cards in pockets, page by page, the way they'd sit on your shelf. Sellers get a setting they've asked for since day one, their own minimum order, and business sellers in the United States and Canada can finally go PRO. The app scanner now keeps a photo of every card it recognises. And a lot more…

🎯 Highlights

Binder view for your lists (web only)

Open any list and switch to Binder: your cards sit in pockets on a two-page spread, and you flip through it with a page-turn animation. Pick your page size (3×3 up to 4×4), drag a card to another pocket to arrange the binder the way you'd sort it at home, and a short tutorial walks you through it the first time. Adding a card from the search bar drops it right next to the one you selected, and anyone visiting your public list sees your arrangement. The gallery and table views are still there whenever you need them.

Now you can: build your Pokémon 30th Celebration master set list and browse it page by page, just like the real thing.

Set your own minimum order (web & app)

Sellers can now decide the smallest order they're happy to ship. In Settings → Selling → Preferences, set a minimum between roughly 2 € and 10 € (or the equivalent in your currency); it counts the items only, never shipping or fees. Buyers see your minimum in their cart and the Cart Wizard takes it into account when it picks sellers. If you don't set anything, the default minimum is now about 5 €, up from 2 €, so nobody has to post a single common for the price of a stamp.

Now you can: stop losing money on 1 € orders without turning away the bulk buyers who make selling worth it.

PRO seller accounts open in the US and Canada

Until now, PRO accounts were for European businesses only. If you sell cards as a registered business in the United States or Canada (a store, an LLC, a sole proprietor), you can now upgrade from Settings → Selling. You get a verified business identity shown on your profile, the PRO badge next to your name on listings, carts and reviews, your own Terms of Service and return policy for buyers to download, monthly fee reports for your accountant and packing slips with your business details. Canadian businesses enter their Business Number (and GST/HST number if they have one), and are paid out in US dollars. Same commission as every seller, no subscription.

Now you can: run your card shop on CardNexus with the paperwork a business needs, and let buyers see at a glance that they're dealing with a pro.

Scanner keeps your photos (in the app)

The scanner now keeps the best shot of each card and attaches it to your listing automatically; photos load at full quality, and scanning is more forgiving when the card database needs a download or a photo goes missing. Game tips cover five more card types.

Now you can: scan a stack of cards and have every listing come with its own photo, without taking a single picture twice.

📱 Mobile app

A big app update is rolling out. Some of it is already in your hands, the rest lands with the next store release.

  • List many cards for sale at once — pick cards in Inventory or a list, then price them all in one go: a percentage of market value, a fixed amount, the list's sell price, or keep what's there. The app checks prices and quantities before it publishes anything.

  • Faster selling — listing forms flag missing prices or grading details before you submit, suggested prices refresh when you change the variant, and draft listings survive if you leave and come back. Inventory items show their photo count.

  • Offers in sync — the offers inbox and chat stay in step (unread badges, "mark all read"), offer cards are clearer about their state, and each action button shows its own spinner.

  • Seller profiles, redesigned — verified sales, shipping time, completion rate and lists at a glance, and your filters survive a trip into search or an expansion.

  • Polish — a seller can't switch off every shipping zone by accident (the app suggests pausing the shop instead), the seller onboarding hand-off to the web and back is cleaner, and sticky headers, search states and login fields behave.

  • And, as usual, a ton of other little adjustments…

If you don't see the update yet, it's on its way — store rollouts happen gradually over a few days.

✨ Improvements & fixes

Searching & browsing

  • Grades that mean something — the Grade filter now depends on the grading company you picked, with the special 10s (PSA 10, CCC Gold 10, PCA / BGS Black Label…) as their own tiers, and the graded cards page can sort by grade so a 10 always ranks above a 9.5. (web)

  • "Last seen" on profiles — seller and user profiles show when they were last active ("3 hours ago", "2 days ago"), right below Location and Joined. (web & app).

Selling & inventory

  • Market value of your selection — select products in Inventory or a list and the action bar shows what they're worth together. (web)

  • Language and condition in list gallery — the gallery view of a list now shows each card's language flag and condition, like Inventory does. (web)

  • Domestic shipping always on — a seller can no longer switch off shipping to their own country, which used to hide all their listings by mistake. (web & app)

  • Parcel sizes, recalibrated — the smallest shipping size (XS) now covers 1 to 3 cards instead of 1 to 5, and S starts at 4 cards (up to 25). Five sleeved cards with a toploader weigh more than a small letter allows, so sellers were paying the difference at the post office. Shipping quotes now match what you actually post.

Under the hood

  • Faster pages — every page loads noticeably less code, catalog navigation no longer re-fetches everything, and switching currency or price source no longer needs a reload. (web)

  • For developers — the Public API now exposes offers (with pricing and lifecycle webhooks), listing photos, expansion completion per user, and lets partners onboard sellers end to end.

  • Added many smaller fixes, UI improvements, and performance optimizations across the platform and mobile app.
