Pricing and sharing your lists

How to put prices on a list with the Apply market prices tool, and how to share a public list with other players.

Last updated 5 days ago

Once your list is built, you can put prices on it and share it with other players โ€” whether you're offering extras from a For sale list or telling people what you'd pay for the cards on a To complete list.

Applying market prices

On For sale and To complete lists, the Apply market prices tool (the lightning icon) prices your whole list in one go, based on current market values:

  1. Open your list and click Apply market prices.

  2. Pick a currency.

  3. Use the Price adjustment slider to price above or below market โ€” anywhere from โˆ’100% to +100%. On a For sale list you might go slightly under market to move cards faster; on a To complete list, the prices represent what you're willing to pay.

  4. Compare the two totals โ€” Total market value (what the list is worth at market) versus Your total (what your list adds up to with the adjustment applied).

  5. Happy with it? Click Apply.

Prices are set once, at the moment you apply them โ€” they don't update automatically as the market moves. If prices have shifted since, just run Apply market prices again to refresh them. You can also edit any individual card's price by hand afterwards.

Important: list prices are not marketplace listings

Setting prices on a list does not put anything up for sale on the CardNexus marketplace. List prices are simply marked on the list itself, so that when you share it โ€” in a Discord server, a Facebook group, or anywhere outside CardNexus โ€” people can see your asking prices (or, on a To complete list, what you're offering to pay).

If you actually want to sell those cards on the CardNexus marketplace, select them on the list and use the List for sale bulk action. That creates real marketplace listings that buyers can purchase. see Selling from your inventory for how listings work.

Sharing a list

Public lists get their own page that anyone with the link can view. To share one, open the list and click the Share button. From there you can:

  • Share directly to Facebook, Discord, Reddit, WhatsApp, Instagram, or X

  • Copy template โ€” copy a ready-made text version of the list, ideal for pasting into chats and forum posts

  • Copy link โ€” grab the link to the list's page

  • See preview โ€” check exactly what visitors will see before you share

What people see depends on the list type. A For sale list highlights the products you own. A To complete list shows only the products you still need โ€” visitors never see what you already have. A Hold list shows everything, owned and missing. see Understanding lists: For sale, To complete, and Hold for more on the three types.

Only public lists can be shared. If your list is private, switch its visibility to Public in the list settings first.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: Make your list look good before you share it: open any card's menu on the list and choose Set as banner โ€” that card's artwork becomes your list's header image.

Good to know

  • Re-running Apply market prices overwrites the prices on the list, including any you edited by hand.

  • Sharing a To complete list is a great way to let trade partners know what you're hunting for โ€” and the prices tell them what you'd pay.

  • Prices on a list are completely separate from the sell prices in your inventory. Changing one never changes the other.
